Enana Ballet Academy is a ballet academy with a distinguished reputation in Qatar where it was first established in 2014, Dubai, where we opened our doors for our first students in 2015 and beyond. Located in a prestigious location in Doha and Media City in Dubai, Enana Ballet Academy offers both recreational dance instruction and elite professional preparation in ballet, ballroom dance, and gymnastics to children from 3 years of age to adults.
Enana Ballet Academy’s Founder and Director Albina Belova is an eminent ballet artist and choreographer, a graduate of Ballet School of the Opera House and Academy of Arts in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Mrs Belova is specialised in dance instruction and choreography and worked as a dance expert in classical ballet, character dance, and jazz dance at the High Institute of Music, Dance Department, in Damascus, Syria for over a decade, instructing high institute students as well as children in the ballet school. She also obtained her master’s degree on the subject of: Influence of Russian Classical Dancing on the Development of Syrian Dance, from the Academy of Slovenian Culture in Moscow in 2012.
Together with her husband Jehad Mufleh, they are recognised in the Middle East and internationally as founders of Enana Dance Theatre that they established almost 20 years ago in Damascus, Syria.
Enana Dance Theatre pioneered theatrical dancing in the Middle East and managed to bring the ancient and modern history of the Arab world together by successfully blending the beauty of traditional dance and folklore with the discipline and structure of classical dance in a way that captivated audiences worldwide.
The success of the dance theatre and lifelong passion for sharing the beauty and power of dance with young people inspired them to establish a ballet academy where they could give young talents an opportunity to reach their full potential as dance artists and coach experienced students to a professional level.
Today Enana Ballet Academy offers ballet instruction at a professional level with a structured curriculum, where students learn effortlessly, while expanding their knowledge of dance.
The founders developed a highly unique ballet curriculum based on the traditions of classical Russian ballet combined with elements of healthy technical and artistic training, promoting creativity and developing a solid foundation of dance technique.
This concept proved to be very successful when Enana students shone in a recent year end performance that was showcased in Madinat Theatre in Dubai and Katara Drama Theatre in Qatar and was attended by thousands of people.
